We offer an intense unpaid internship for those serious about wanting to learn all that goes in to planning a fabulous celebration. This rewarding internship program is hands-on and allows interns access to our resources and events. This will help you build your own portfolio and gain knowledge of this vast industy.

 

Currently taking applications for : SPRING/SUMMER 2016 

 

Time commitment is 2 full days per week in office, plus days when we have an event. Perfect for the guy or gal who is interested in event design and/or planning. 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office

  • Organized

  • Passionate about event design and planning

  • Knowledge of Photoshop preferred, but not required

  • Patient

  • Kind

  • Lives in the Houston area and capable of coming to our office in the Westchase/Memorial Area

  • Has a laptop with up to date Adobe and Microsoft programs installed

  • Available two days a week and on most weekends for event production

  • Able to lift and carry up to 30lbs

  • Comfortable on your feet for hours at a time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Update our website galleries, social media, and advertising accounts with recent work

  • Blog at least twice a week

  • Create custom graphics that fit the HBE brand to use on our website

  • Source materials for events in person and online

  • Aide in keeping clients happy

  • Attend meetings with Heather to learn the flow of appointments

  • Assist in production at events on the weekends (not every weekend)
